Introducing Artist Advancement Grants
New this year, the Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana is announcing a new regional artist grant program. The artist advancement grants are intended to directly benefit individual artists by funding the creation of new work, community projects, or the advancement of artists’ careers. The Arts Council will be receiving grant applications until Friday, August 2nd.
Eligibility
- Applicants must live or work in Daviess, Dubois, Gibson, Knox, Perry, Posey, Pike, Vanderburgh, Warrick, or Spencer Counties of Indiana.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, or have a parental or guardian co-applicant
- Applicants may work in any discipline of the visual, literary, or performance arts

Timeline
Registration deadline: Aug 2nd by 11:59 p.m.
Application Review by Committee: Aug 5th – Aug 21st
Grant Notifications: Aug 28th
Funds Disbursed (and mailed): early September
