2024 Art in the City  Art in the City is the Arts Council’s annual members-only exhibit, and a chance for local artist members to showcase their current work. Each member receives one free entry into the exhibit.  Membership: Dues are $50.00 for 12 months of benefits. Andrea Adams will moderate a Q&A of gallery professionals for a discussion on how to submit, display, and prepare artwork for exhibits in various settings. Joining her will be Evansville African American museum curator of art, Tory Schendel-Vyvoda, and Senior Gallery Associate at New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art, T Lance. Members can join the discussion for free, while non-members will be charged $10 to attend. 

2024 Artist Curation Project Request for Proposal Form The Arts Council wants to see how YOU would curate the Bower-Suhrheinrich Foundation Gallery. The Artist Curation Project is an opportunity to submit a proposal of 3-5 artists who you think would be phenomenal together on the wall. Three small groups of artists will be chosen by a committee; a group for each wall. All media will be considered; pedestals will be available for 3D work. The curator should not be one of the artists. The curator will choose a title, a theme, and the artwork for the exhibit.
