Creative Exploration Day: Learning Through a Child’s Eyes
The Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana and Building Blocks are partnering to present early childhood Creative Exploration Days at the Bower-Suhrheinrich Foundation Gallery on Main Street. Children ages 1 – 5 and their caregivers are invited to spend time in the gallery moving, building, creating, reading and imagining, because early learning happens through creative play. Staff from Building Blocks will be on-hand to share expertise, ideas and insight with caregivers as little ones interact with art supplies, instruments and movement toys. Wall to Table (2023) exhibit
Join us for the "Wall to Table" exhibit! This exciting new exhibit is a combined 3D-2D show, in which artists create a ceramic piece and an accompanying 2D piece so the art can be seen on the wall or the table. The gallery is open 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. It is also open for special events, like "On The Roof" concerts. Free admission.

Wall to Table reception
Join us for the "Wall to Table" exhibit reception! This exciting new exhibit is a combined 3D-2D show, in which artists create a ceramic piece and an accompanying 2D piece so the art can be seen on the wall or the table. The reception is 5-6:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19 at the gallery. An "On The Roof" concert will follow from 7-10 p.m. featuring The Smoke Rings and Georgia Funkadelic.
