Learn how to take your professional creative career to the next level

Artists and creatives who are hoping to take the next step in furthering their business should be sure not to miss the Arts Council Next Level Training event in August.

The Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana is partnering with the Indiana Arts Commission and the Indiana Small Business Development Center to bring free professional development to regional creative entrepreneurs.

Next Level Training is 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Aug. 9 at Bob Jones Family Room in Old National Bank in Downtown Evansville. The all day event will include professional development, information on how to launch your business with the Small Business Development Center, working with corporate partners, making the most of digital platforms, website development, and more.

Next Level Training is designed for creatives who are either currently generating revenue from their creative practice and want to expand their business, or for those who don’t currently generate revenue from their creative practice and want to learn how.

The Next Steps Creative Entrepreneur Trainings are brought to you by the Indiana Small Business Development Center, a program of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, and the Indiana Arts Commission. This initiative is funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Attendance is free, but please register to attend.
