2024 Artist Curation Project Request for Proposal Form The Arts Council wants to see how YOU would curate the Bower-Suhrheinrich Foundation Gallery. The Artist Curation Project is an opportunity to submit a proposal of 3-5 artists who you think would be phenomenal together on the wall. Three small groups of artists will be chosen by a committee; a group for each wall. All media will be considered; pedestals will be available for 3D work. How it works One lead curator will organize a small group of artists (3-5), and curate their artwork into a cohesive exhibit on one wall of the Bower-Suhrheinrich

Creative Exploration Day – Learning Through Movement

Come spend an evening with folk-punk accordion troubadour Jason Webley and friends in support of FLOTSAM, a floating river circus that will be traveling down the Ohio River this summer from giving free performances for crowds on the shore. Armed with his squeezebox, a beat-up parlor guitar, and porkpie hat, Webley has performed in over forty countries. On The Roof is a free, all ages concert series by the Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana. The concerts are outdoors at 212 Main Street, the Arts Council’s Rooftop Art Deck in Downtown Evansville. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Music begins at 7 p.m. All ages are welcome. There is no cost to attend. There is a cash-only bar for 21+.

ARTSWIN’s Halloween-themed art exhibit (All entries must be Pre-Registered)  Concept The Arts Council is all about Halloween, and we’re back with our annual Spooky Show this fall! Throughout October, our gallery will be packed with spooky, funny, and whimsical creations. We’ll fill our walls with eerie 2D scenes and spirits, but we also want our 3D artists to summon some creepy creatures to haunt the gallery for the season.
