Indiana artists seek spaces to spark organic relationships and networks within and beyond their respective disciplines. Designed to provide network and connection for primarily emerging artists across the state, Work in Progress Exchange Labs is a pilot program from the IAC launching in 2025. Artists will meet monthly across regions of the state to share career updates, challenges they are facing, and build community hubs dedicated to creatives. Artists who participate in these small groups will also be eligible for small support grants on a rolling basis, which can be used to complete a work in progress, purchase new equipment,

Evansville Speaks is a spoken-word open mic! This event's theme is "Fresh Start." Please fill out this simple form if you wish to participate. All ages are welcome to participate as well as attend! "If you have a story to tell, a poem to share, a piece of prose that speaks to you, this event is for you. Say what you need to say. Support the others. The Arts Council is hosting a new series of artistic conversations and workshops called “Work in Progress.” This project aims to engage artists with other creatives and the community through a variety of collaborative discussions and interactive events.
