Children ages 1 - 5 and their caregivers are invited to the Arts Council for a morning of learning through art and creative play. The program is free, open to the public, and runs from 10 am to noon. This session’s theme explores learning through play!

The Arts Council is all about Halloween, and we're back with our annual Spooky Show this fall! Throughout October, our gallery will be packed with spooky, funny, and whimsical creations. We'll fill our walls with eerie 2D scenes and spirits, but we also want our 3D artists to summon some creepy creatures to haunt the gallery for the season. Cash bar for 21+ provided by Sauced.

On The Roof is a free, all ages concert series by the Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana. The concerts are outdoors at 212 Main Street, the Arts Council’s Rooftop Art Deck in Downtown Evansville. From Scratch is an art exhibit celebrating food in all its forms, whether as a source of joy, a cultural touchstone, or a symbol of shared experiences. We’re especially interested in works that portray growing, harvesting, cooking, or eating, exploring food’s connection to identity, tradition, indulgence, and even humor. There will be a special award from Urban Seeds for artwork that highlights the beauty and significance of fresh, local ingredients and agriculture.
