The Big Picture: 55 Years of Arts in Evansville

IT’S OUR BIRTHDAY, and we’ll party if we want to! We’re shutting the block DOWN. Pull up a seat and create at each of our art stations until your heart’s content! We’ll be t-shirt printing, collage-making, painting, and much more. The party continues with live music, birthday cake, and friends. Join us at our birthday celebration, The Big Picture: 55 Years of Arts in Evansville, on Wednesday, June 25th from 5pm – 7pm. This is a FREE, ALL AGES event. Patsy Hartigan’s will provide a cash bar for 21+. For 55 years, the Arts Council has worked hard at fulfilling its mission of enhancing the quality

Please Touch the Art is a curated exhibition dedicated to tactile, interactive, and sensory-forward artwork. This show will feature works that are meant to be touched, held, handled, or otherwise physically engaged with by the viewer. We are currently accepting submissions from artists working in any medium that prioritizes the sense of touch. This exhibition aims to challenge the traditional “do not touch” culture of galleries and museums. We are especially interested in work that: •    Encourages physical interaction as a core part of the concept•    Explores texture, temperature, pressure, or movement•    Is accessible to neurodiverse audiences and/or
