2024 Art Awards: ICONIC

To say the Art Awards event for 2024 was 𝐈𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐂 would be an understatement.

So much inspiration, talent, celebration…𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆. Sharing these special moments and including Executive Director Anne McKim’s parting words for our guests – and really our greater community:

“…I’ll be concluding the night the way that I always do: with an invitation. You’ve been introduced to incredible people doing incredible things – 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺! Patronize them, and bring your friends and family, because just as communities are transformed by the arts, so are individual lives. And that, friends, is the Arts Council’s work.”

Please take a moment to learn more about these artists and their projects!

Exhibit: Artist Curation Project

2024 Artist Curation Project

Request for Proposal Form

The Arts Council wants to see how YOU would curate the Bower-Suhrheinrich Foundation Gallery. The Artist Curation Project is an opportunity to submit a proposal of 3-5 artists who you think would be phenomenal together on the wall. Three small groups of artists will be chosen by a committee; a group for each wall. All media will be considered; pedestals will be available for 3D work.

How it works

One lead curator will organize a small group of artists (3-5), and curate their artwork into a cohesive exhibit on one wall of the Bower-Suhrheinrich Foundation Gallery. The curator should not be one of the artists. The curator will choose a title, a theme, and the artwork for the exhibit. The curator will also install the exhibit.

Proposal for Arts Council Members: Free

Proposal for non-members: $20
